Introducing: CHEF HUDA

Watch out food and fashion worlds.  Huda Mumin Clarke, aka Chef Huda, is a multi-faceted brand taking both worlds by storm.

She is a celebrity professional chef, food & entertainment writer, fashionista, good food enthusiast and philanthropist. 

She is the daughter of PR mogul to the stars, Priscilla Clark of Priscilla Clark Public Relations. She is also the sister of aspiring actor and model, Qasim Clark.  Coming from such a talented family, it isn't hard to imagine Chef Huda making her own mark. 

In addition to her many endeavors and aspirations Chef Huda is also owner and CEO of Pretty and Delicious, a personal chef and culinary company, and creator of 'A Happy Food Place', Hu's Who?, and Styled by Hu.

Chef Huda and her brand are undeniably stylish and classy.  Her goal is to create beautiful dishes that keep people craving more, while helping to improve people’s relationship with food. You can see Chef Huda do both Tuesday nights at 8 p.m. as she continues her run on ABC's "The Taste" where she has been going strong in the competition for four weeks.

Chef Huda is a graduate from the University of Maryland, College Park. She studied culinary art at Le Cordon Bleu and finished at the top of her class. Chef Huda’s delicious culinary creations have received national rave reviews from A-list Hollywood celebrities to being featured on numerous shows including Donald Trump’s “The Ultimate Merger”.  She is an Ambassador for The American Heart Association and is featured ABC’s new show, “The Taste”.

National Action Network National Convention

The National Action Network , led by Reverend Al Sharpton , convenes this week at the DC Convention Center. The convention started off with the parents of Trayvon Martin speaking at the convention on the arrest of George Zimmerman, the murderer of their son. The event also hosted Magic Johnson and Department of Justice head, Eric Holder. The convention will continue through this week. Howard Dean, Phylicia Rashad, Sorry For 'Insensitive' Cosby Tweet

Phylicia Rashad , Howard alum and recently appointed Dean of the College of Fine Arts at Howard University, offered her sincere apologies to the university’s parents and students after showing her support this week for Bill Cosby who was released from jail on sexual assault charges.  Bill Cosby with Phylicia Rashad for The Cosby Show.
