What's the 411? George Zimmerman Arrested (Finally)

On the 11th day, of the 4th month - April 11th - the murderer of a young Florida teen, Trayvon Martin, as finally been arrested for second degree murder, after weeks of protests from the public, and evidence to support his crime.

AP reports:

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) -- The neighborhood watch volunteer who shot 17-year-old Trayvon Martin was arrested and charged with second-degree murder Wednesday after months of mounting tensions and protests across the country.

George Zimmerman, 28, could get up to life in prison if convicted in the slaying of the unarmed black teenager.

Special prosecutor Angela Corey announced the charges but would not discuss how she arrived at them or disclose other details of her investigation, saying: "That's why we try cases in court."

Lee Senior Residences at Kennedy Street, a 38-unit, all-affordable senior community located in the Brightwood Park neighborhood of Ward 4. First Family Attends Zion Baptist Church

The First Family attended the historic Zion Baptist Church today in honor of the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday. The church was founded in 1864 by African Americans who migrated to Washington from Fredericksburg, VA and is currently pastored by Rev. Keith Byrd, Sr. who employed the congregation today to "be a source of hope." Dr. King's 'Letter From a Birmingham Jai l' was recited to the parishoners while the Sunday program featured a picture of Dr. King on the cover along with the words "I Have A Dream".
