The Howard Theatre announces return of shows at iconic theatre.

If you're looking for a chance to see live music in the District, the iconic Howard Theatre has announced its lineup with several performances starting in March.  If you are so inclined to venture out during the ongoing pandemic, you can get tickets, and details, at thehowardtheatre.com . Shows leading up to the March lineup include  Thee Phantom and the Illharmonic Orchestra (February 11&12), Reuben Studdard 's Valentine tribute - Luther Vandross -style (February 14), and  Stephen Marley (March 3rd). Mask Mandates In DC? COVID-19 tests available late January, 2022.

"Keys, wallet, phone, and proof of vaccination." - DC Mayor While Virginia cities, including those across the river from D.C., are not required to wear masks (especially in schools) via legislation the state's newly elected governor imposed, (even as his own child attends a mask-mandated school ), it's no mask, no service in the District of Columbia. Patrons are required to wear masks and show proof of vaccination before patronizing DC establishments like bars and restaurants.  No masks are required for takeout orders. The mandate began last weekend and fines, up to $1000, may be imposed upon businesses for not complying after two warnings.
